Candace and Jon are extra special to me. I’ve known them for quite some time and they are, indeed, the perfect couple: young, happy, in sync, and madly in love. Ever since I photographed their engagement, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day. So, here we are, and I can tell you the day went beautifully.

The entire day was spent at the Bonaventure Country Club in Weston, FL. They have a nice bridal room on site where the girls were getting ready when I arrived. Once Candace got into her dress, we spent some time with her and the girls getting some really nice shots. Soon, it was time for the first look. Although Candace and Jon hadn’t considered a first look until we planned their day, I can tell you they were blown away when they saw each other. It was such a special, emotional moment that I almost couldn’t hold the camera steady. What a sweet couple.

After the ceremony, Bonaventure gave us a couple golf carts to go check out their famous waterfall on the fairway. We were only there for a couple minutes, but got some very classy shots. We rounded out the evening at the reception, where Candace and Jon were sporting some fantastic dance moves.
