What is Your Shooting Style for Weddings?
My style for weddings is generally the same as it is for portraits: clean, relaxed, and fairly true to form. Saying that, there are some differences simply due to the nature of the event. I wouldn’t call my style photojournalistic in the purest sense. I don’t simply document the event from the sidelines, though I have seen purists that are excellent photographers in their own right. I also don’t just do formals at the end of the ceremony. I am comfortably in between these two extremes.
What I do is capture people, details, and moments that I feel best express the emotions and story of your wedding. Yeah, I know, “capturing the moment” sounds cliche and it largely is. Nevertheless, it’s somewhat true. After all, while you may realize thousands of people get married year after year, yours is the one that’s special to you.
That’s why I believe it’s so important to focus on people–that’s where the story is. Details are taken care of, too, and by the end of the event, you should have a great story recorded through a terrific collection of images.
When Will I Get My Images Back?
Usually, you will receive your images within 30 days of the wedding.
